He is a perfect example of someone fusing supposedly opposing dualities and creating new realities, in his case between activist/CEO and shaman/scientist. Watch his lecture "Mysteries of Mycology" and hear his theory on the mycelial fungal net being the first global communications system predating the interwebs by many millions of years, and how humans are actually a fungal/sapien symbiote not a single species.

This is a fundamental distinction that occidental sciences are only starting to grasp and implement in their theories, mainly that the existence of biota is based much more on the interweaving of species and their cooperation than hierarchical darwinistic competitive models would lead a symbiote to believe.

In case you are confused I will spell it out for you, you are a part fungus, part plant, part animal, part reptile hybrid, your turn-ons are the perioidic table of elements, pheremones, and moist cavities. Your early ancestors may have first traveled here in the debris trails of massive spacebergs that smashed into the molten protoearth delivering unto us the respiratory system of our microcosm, ie the oceans of Earth.

I wish in 2008 to focus more on the solutions to problems and less on the endless series of debacles that passes for news these days.
