Justin Boland We Salute You!!
Does this ring any bells?
666 = 18 x 37. Thus 37 is the largest prime factor of the number of the beast; and the factor 18 is significant in that it represents the age at which many vices become legal.
37 squared is 1369, a number which combines the unlucky connotations of 13 with the sexual connotations of 69. 13 and 69 are themselves connected in that 13 squared is 169.

`(2) VIOLENT RADICALIZATION- The term `violent radicalization' means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change.
`(3) HOMEGROWN TERRORISM- The term `homegrown terrorism' means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.
`(4) IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE- The term `ideologically based violence' means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious, or social beliefs.
`SEC. 899B. FINDINGS.
`The Congress finds the following:
`(1) The development and implementation of methods and processes that can be utilized to prevent violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence in the United States is critical to combating domestic terrorism.
`(2) The promotion of violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence exists in the United States and poses a threat to homeland security.
`(3) The Internet has aided in facilitating violent radicalization, ideologically based violence, and the homegrown terrorism process in the United States by providing access to broad and constant streams of terrorist-related propaganda to United States citizens.
`(4) While the United States must continue its vigilant efforts to combat international terrorism, it must also strengthen efforts to combat the threat posed by homegrown terrorists based and operating within the United States.
`(5) Understanding the motivational factors that lead to violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence is a vital step toward eradicating these threats in the United States.
`(6) Preventing the potential rise of self radicalized, unaffiliated terrorists domestically cannot be easily accomplished solely through traditional Federal intelligence or law enforcement efforts, and can benefit from the incorporation of State and local efforts.
`(7) Individuals prone to violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence span all races, ethnicities, and religious beliefs, and individuals should not be targeted based solely on race, ethnicity, or religion.
`(8) Any measure taken to prevent violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence and homegrown terrorism in the United States should not violate the constitutional rights, civil rights, or civil liberties of United States citizens or lawful permanent residents.
`(9) Certain governments, including the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia have significant experience with homegrown terrorism and the United States can benefit from lessons learned by those nations.

Interesting article by Jamal Watson
It's the second socially conscious CD for the academic who released "Sketches of My Culture" in 2001, a CD that was harshly criticized by former Harvard University president Lawrence Summers who publicly questioned West's scholarship. Summers ridiculed the CD, arguing that it was not befitting of real scholarship. The public spat eventually caused West — who felt disrespected — to abandon his alma mater for Princeton. "Sister Tilghman is qualitatively different than Brother Summers," says West, referring to Dr. Shirley Tilghman, the current president of Princeton University, who helped to lure West to Princeton from Harvard. "The hip hop scared Brother Summers. It's a stereotypical reaction."
In a recent interview with Diverse, West said that he wants this latest CD to help "the older generation raise their voices and listen to the younger generation so that there can be an internal dialogue between the two generations." He adds: "We wanted to provide a danceable education that highlights the need for an awakening, for political engagement, for progressive politics and for sheer fun." In recent years, hip hop has become an important cultural form of expression that many Black intellectuals have embraced. For example, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, a professor at Georgetown University, has published a new book called Know What I Mean? Reflections on Hip Hop, and Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, a 28-year-old professor at Temple University and a protégé of Dyson, routinely appears on television shows discussing this cultural phenomenon.
This strategy makes sense to West. "The academy and the street is all one world," said West, who has written 17 books including the best-selling Race Matters, a collection of essays that examine racial issues in the United States. "A lot of people are trashing hip hop and demonizing our young Black brothers and sisters, but it's important to bear witness in a variety of contexts and to be multi-contextual."
And yet, West says that hip-hop artists who demean and disrespect Black women should be held accountable as well. He also said that artists should become more sensitive to the use of the 'N' word and is heard on the CD debating Dyson, who defends the use of the word. On the CD, the conversation between Dyson and West is moderated by television host Tavis Smiley. "I don't think it's possible to overstate the importance of engaging and utilizing the ideas and energy of young people in activism geared toward addressing injustice here and abroad," says Kevin T. Smith, co-founder and co-editor of SleptOn.com, a socio-political online journal that features news analysis and commentary on politics, entertainment and culture."
A major impediment of progressives and radical lefty activists today is the failure of the imagination … a failure to adapt beyond the old mobilizing ideas and to adopt some of the new, popular modes of reaching people," says Smith, who applauds West's initiative. "Hip-hop music is an international phenomenon that has really captured the spirit of this generation. It only makes sense for those concerned to try to capture and harness the enormous potential of cultural art forms such as hip hop while engaging its listeners."
Thank you Jamal!
Google Dr. West if you want to hear some of his lectures, they are so inspiring to me! I first heard this guy on UWTV when I didnt have cable and was moved to remember him and learn more.
While Dr. West is a proponent first for the civil rights and equal treatment of his own people, I have heard him say some very illumined statements about humanities struggle to understand itself without the usual systems of semantics and dogma that turns into its own form of mental bureaucracy. He is a proponent of equality for all people no matter their race, nation of origin, or economic status.
We are one
This is all one struggle
Any attempts to make one race or group struggle more important than the enlightenment of all humanity is mere egoizing.
That said you must begin where you are at, ease some of your own suffering before you ever try to tell anybody else how to ease theirs.
Word?

Brave citizens defend all our right to assemble and protest.
People are sooo frustrated by the intractability of our situation in Iraq (and the almost worse one for Americans in D.C). We have watched this go on for years now and some feel helpless about their ability to do anything meaningful in response to the violence being carried out under our standard.
Two more Fort Lewis soldiers killed by roadside bomb in the midst of all the mayhem this week, and the police are much more interested in the ports right to maintain access than the peoples right to assemple and protest an illegal, immoral, irrational war that empowers no one but the military-industrial complex and its investors.
To all my people, be fast, be smart, be strong, dont be a statistic!

Edwards Labels Clinton an Insider
9:12 PM EST October 30, 2007 The Associated Press MANCHESTER, N.H.
John Edwards on Monday cast Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton and her ties to lobbyists as part of a corrupt Washington system that voters should reject in the presidential election. Edwards railed against the "bankruptcy of our political leadership," an approach that his campaign said would be a major thrust of his efforts in the two months before the first nomination voting. With Clinton appearing to gain strength with every poll, Edwards seemed less to target Republican President Bush's leadership than to cast fellow Democrat Clinton as the insider voters should reject.
"This corruption did not begin yesterday _ and it did not even begin with George Bush, although Lord knows it's been present while George Bush has been president," the 2004 vice presidential nominee said in a speech at St. Anselm College. "It has been building for decades until it now threatens literally the life of our democracy."
"Senator Clinton's road to the middle class takes a major detour right through the deep canyon of corporate lobbyists and the hidden bidding of K Street in Washington," he said. "And history tells us that when that bus stops there, it is the middle class that loses."
Later, at a town-hall meeting in Exeter, N.H., Edwards blamed the Washington system for allowing the government to hire private security guards like those who work for Blackwater USA. Blackwater guards were involved in the killings of 17 Iraqi civilians in September in Baghdad.
"Right now, we've got men and women serving in uniform in Iraq while we've got a bunch of paid mercenaries roaming around the country lawless, the best I can tell, working for Blackwater and people like that," Edwards said.
The U.S. government has rejected the use of the term "mercenaries" in a United Nations report to describe Blackwater guards, saying it is demeaning to those who risk their lives defending U.S. interests. Edwards told reporters after his appearance that he didn't know the government objected to the term.
"And I don't care," he said, adding that he "absolutely" believes it is a fair term.
Edwards' earlier speech was subdued and direct. The campaign did not set up a flashy venue _ he spoke from a podium in a small stripped-down academic auditorium with just one well-worn campaign banner hanging behind him. He read from his remarks and didn't make any attempt to fire up the crowd and draw applause.
He cast the 2008 election as the culmination of an epic struggle between Washington greed and the power of the people. "This is the moral test of our generation," Edwards said.
"Down one path, we trade corporate Republicans for corporate Democrats; our cronies for their cronies; one political dynasty for another dynasty, and all we are left with is a Democratic version of the Republican corruption machine," he said"
And then the clincher!
"Singer responded by questioning Edwards' ties to special interests. Edwards has taken donations from industries that employ federal lobbyists, though he doesn't take donations directly from the lobbyists themselves. "If Mr. Edwards is so concerned about the influence of special interests, he should give back the hundreds of thousands of dollars he's taken from health care, securities, and insurance companies," Singer said.
But John Edwards could never do that, unless he was Ross Perot(who wasnt much better because instead of using other peoples $$, he had his own capital invested in these companies), because he would be without a campaign. Where else is he gonna get the money? Personal Donations? Republican or Democrat these people are subject to the same economic power base.
So whats the result?
Total Corruption !!!!! Look on the bright side at least you know what to expect from these Corporate Fascist State cheerleaders !!

Kool Herc-Obvious choice! Father of Breakbeats, matrix of Hiphop culture, the man that truly makes the ground pound. While you have probably not heard his actual mixes you hear his influence every time a dj lowers his stylus and starts breaking down beats.

Donations range from seed crops, medicine, water, building supplies, clothing, and hard cash, but all the actual $$ is donated by the sponsors of the site. Its very simple and easy, you can handle it I promise.
Free Rice-strange but worthwhile site! For every word for which you match correctly with its best definition, The United Nations graciously doles out 10 grains of rice to anonymous persons who remain unidentified. I made em bust out over 1000 grains yestereve, but I must say its a bit culturally biased, what isnt really?

!Psychic Powers!
Thank you for tuning in!
This thing we call "Art" is so ever-present and pervasive it is easy to take it for granted. Especially since so many of us are enraptured by the art of youtube, filmmaking, video games, and the archaic invention known as television. Myself not excluded!
However True Art is always present and exists whether we are around to notice it or not, or perhaps I am the invisible presence in the forest that hears all trees fall. Either way the vibrations are there they extend out into forever decaying ever so slowly. As it is with radio/digital signals so too with our bioelectrical broadcast, as we piece together our reality and live our lives we are transmitting various signals to the other members of our colony.
Call it God, collective unconscious, Psychic Powers!, witchcraft, or whatever label makes you comfortable to process it as, the essential concept is ubiqitous to all cultures. Ancestor worship is a strong candidate for the first human religion , the rememberance of those who are no longer here, but still present in our heart and mind. If you have someone special to you that you lost take a moment to think about how much you love them and the impact they have in your life and then multipy that by billions and you begin to get a sense of our collective psychic broadcast power. This is only a tiny fraction of "The Main Signal".
This "signal" is something we can all tap into within our own minds because we are creating it as we view it!!
This is true even if looked at from the narrow view of the quality of your reciever/transmitter affecting the signal you recieve, but to think of quantum signals all figure-eighting into one another unto infinity you begin to see the spiral/fractal nature of your connections. None of us are static signals, we are all cycles and loops and constantly transfiguring, whether we know it or not.
Any questions?

Ooops I almost forgot my introduction!
Thursday, November 8, 2007
Paul Laffoley is an extremely amazing person and his body of work are more like maps of the sub-conscious(I would prefer to exchange sub for supra but that would likely just confuse my meaning) than paintings. Now let me say I am aware that in a way all visionary art is a map of our mingling minds back at the source of all this consciousness which isnt back there but simply here and now. Pauls maps are extremely detailed, defined, and labeled in a way that is meta-symbolic rather than just merely figurative. I have spent hours poring over tiny details of his Dreamfuture schematics and I find myself more personally engaged each time I look at them. Check out his site and say hello to Miqel! Thats my man throwin down!!

The Frolitics of Evolution
And anyone else that might be reading this!! This is the first installment of my new cosmic rigor. This will be a place for insight and discussion on arts of sound and light and their relevance to the
(R)EVOLUTION of our minds and our hearts.
We as animals constantly respond in countless ways to the interplay of sound and light around us. Our brains hum with activity when we listen to Saul Williams New Album "The Inevitable Rise and Liberation Of Niggy Tardust" (download it here:saulwilliams.com ) or any other interesting sound pal;ettes around us. The patterns of complex tones and rhythms can be a neural massage to the beleagured stressed out mind of your average working stiff.
Is this the only effect of complex tones and rhythms on our mind/body/spirit triune or can experiencing enough great art over a long enough period magnify and mutate certain physiological processes?
To be completely straight with you my personal opinion is an emphatic YES!!!, that said I will not live in la-la land and talk about this subject as if everyone out there is surrounded by a utopic plethora of fantastic mind-bending art. The truth is there is a very dark side to the ability to manipulate sound and light and our culture is ground-zero for some of the most horrific experiments ever committed by one techno-ape upon another. The politics of this battle for the ability to create consensus reality play out in all of our daily lives.
In our culture, but this true for any megametropoli, everyone and everything is constantly trying to change your mind, either by something so quasi-benign as maintaining a certain appearance ie the curb you stand on is a commercial for the city council and their ability to "maintain order". Or parkbenches, buses, taxis, trucks, delivery vans with advertisements. Even our garbage is some sort of bizarro advertisement of where somebody ate or what kind of beer we drink.
Print, radio, television, and now the interweb are all extremely powerful mediums for the control of consensus reality, people are moved by the information behind these sounds and lights in ways which are holistic and total. I mean really try to think about anything that is not directly related or involved in a static information loop with any of those four medium.
Any luck?
